The PALMATEC Network
People often ask us how our business is structured and why we have so many identities under one roof. PALMATEC Solutions started out as a small web design company helping local businesses establish their online identity. As the company grew, so did the needs of our customers. We had a difficult time finding dependable, scalable web hosting for the web sites we were building. I leased a server and eventually started offering 24/7 toll-free tech support. Soon other web designers wanted to use our hosting so we created AxonHost in 2002.
Similarly in 2004, I started NameGig.com because we needed a dependable registrar for our client’s domain names. After careful research, I negotiated a partnership with the very best ICANN certified domain registrar and became a preferred partner.
As PALMATEC Solutions continued to expand our customer base and services, we began providing information strategy, application development, and project management systems for large companies that have their own IT staff (a sensitive lot). We created Totera to help distinguish that specialty and expand our reach.
Today the PALMATEC Network consists of four different brands that specialize in different aspects of web technology.

Currently I oversee operations for all of these companies and contract with industry experts when assembling project teams. Obviously, we could not provide all the necessary data storage and delivery infrastructure from our headquarters here in Port Townsend, so we partner with large companies for dependable technology, and then provide our clients with project management and support.
